God and Man
INTRODUCTION
A. Forgiveness is something that every sinner needs, and it is something that God does.
1. He understands and wants to forgive (Psalm 78:36-40).
2. He is still of that mind (Acts 5:30-31).
B. He looks upon us with this strong desire—and with a plan that is accomplished through Christ Jesus (1 Timothy 1:15-17).
1. He wants to b the “Friend of sinners”!
2. But this can only occur if we are forgiven!
C. Let us learn God’s point of view from three angles.
1. God’s Desire Toward Us.
2. God Has Described His Desire Toward Us.
3. God Desires That We Have A Proper “Sense of Sin.”

2. Our guilt (Romans 1-3).
3. Our need (John 1:29).
4. Our ignorance (Jeremiah 10:23).
5. Our stubbornness (Zechariah 7:11).
C. Here is a text to help us begin: Isaiah 55:6-7.
1. “Seek”: the Lord while He may be found.
2. “Forsake”: wicked ways and thoughts.
3. “Turn”: to the Lord.
4. God’s mercy allows Him to pardon!
